A few things have changed since I last told you what I was working on. I finished and published two of the nature books, entitled The Wizard of Awe and Over the Hummingbird’s Rainbow.
The UFO book also went live. Alien Nightmares: Screen Memories of UFO Alien Abductions is available in paperback and eBook.
I’ve got the raw material for four dog books, one being a rather unusual tale of pure fiction. Several potential children’s books are playing teeter totter in my mind. And maybe even a book of our hair-raising travel stories. An alien follow-up is also in the early stages.
The estate book, hippie book, happiness book, and weirdness book are all still possibilities.
Sharon Delarose has two other books in the works after the astrophysical mystery, southern book, and dog books.
1. A children’s book which is fully written, and waiting only for the illustrations to be finished.
2. A nature book, partially written and photographed, is also in progress.
In addition, currently existing only as thought trees and wanna-writes, are a hippie book, a weirdness book, a happiness book, a UFO book, and an estate book. The closest thing to an actual genre are the dog books, with all others being unique unto themselves.
The voice however, is pure Delarose, no matter the genre, so stay tuned…!
Sharon Delarose has two more dog books planned: the follow up to Dakota’s book Bad Dog to Best Friend, and the book of Sierra, who turned out to be the perfect companion for Dakota.
For those who loved Bad Dog to Best Friend, we’re simply letting you know that yes, we do plan to answer the question: What happened to Dakota and how is she doing now?
The short answer is: You’d never know she was once a bad dog. Today we leave her with full run of the house and we don’t worry at all. She’s been on many more road trips and she’s a seasoned traveler. We adopted another shelter dog, who has become Dakota’s companion, and Sierra’s book will cover the puppy months.
Both books will include training tips and dog stories. The books exist in a very raw form, including a detailed diary of all things dog, but neither book has been officially written. We’re just giving you a heads up of what’s in the works.
